Alright. I've implemented the templates from the Standard Neowiki Template Package. I've put what they should be used for in the history for most of them. Be sure to check these out if you are not yet sure! ~Karis
 Main Page Feedback
Alright, would you like V.RAN or Nagare's version? Both of them actually look pretty well. (V.Ran can be found on User:Relmutsie AN and Nagare's version is currently on the main page. ~Karis
V.NAG is the way we'l be making main pages from now on :) Nagare 06:02, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Nagare, that's bullshit and you know it. That's the way you WANT it to be. Thing is, it's not compulsory to have your main page design. If people want another design, then they're more than free to have another design. I personally don't care which design is used, but I think the idea that this is the way it "should be done", is complete and utter bullshit. Get off your *bleep*ing high horse.
If you think you're redecorating any of my wikis because it's "the way", think again. Relm out. Relmutsie AN 11:35, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh yeah, don't change any main pages with Staff Nagare. If they like it, they like it. It may also be smart to ask the top contributor (hint hint) if they should change it. Or have someone contact you about it. Don't screw with main pages without at least ONE contributor's consent. ~Karis
woah woah. No one asked bitches to bitch about shit that doesn't need to be bitched about. Seriously. I've already talked with tekmosis about it...new wikis will be having it.
I haven't planned on touching any older wiki or wiki with staff, it's up to the staff or admins to do that. So, Relm, I don't plan on touching your wikis ;) It would just lead to an edit war or something dumb. Wikis just require something new and fresh, not what every other major wiki, such as Wikipedia, has for pages. This new template offers this. And for Karis, the main page had the default layout but barely edited which made it look worse, imo.
Sorry if you don't like it, but it's the way I'll be pushing and the template that should be used from now on for new wikis. Emphasis being on new. I am NOT saying it NEEDS to be done this way, I'm just saying we should move away from the old main page template. Nagare 02:09, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I'm not saying I didn't like the last one. I hated it, but it was okay. We already had a Main Page Template laid out. :( ~Karis
And I'm saying that just because we "should" be moving away from the old main page doesn't mean that we can't use it if we want to. I'm saying that just because a wiki is new, it doesn't mean that it can't be re-done in the way that the contributors see fit.
The classic main page design looks like shit, I'll give you that. That doesn't mean that I can't do my design either. And that's what this is about - the decision between your design, and my design.
We spoke about this the night you were implementing it and I told you I was fine with it. I also told you that I wasn't sure what Karis would think about it. Now, Karis - as a contributor - is deciding which page design to use. So don't try and tell him that he should keep it because it's the way new wikis "should be done".

Sorry Nagare. I'm going with Luke's. In my opinion, V.NAG is way too..."squished". ~Karis
That's when you alter the width attributes... Nagare 02:11, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I didn't alter anything ffs. I had a "Spotlight Page" on there, but I then changed it. It obviously didn't work. It works better with V.Ran ON THIS WIKI. I'm not saying it is going to look horrible on every other Wiki, but on this one, V.Ran is better in my opinion. ~Karis
You still need to flesh out the navigation section so it doesn't look lopsided. Relmutsie AN 11:33, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I know. I added a few things yesterday, and will probably be adding more today. ~Karis
