Belcha was introduced as Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!'s very first boss, encountered at the end of the Lake Orangatanga level. He is certainly one of the most unique bosses this series has seen, given the fact that he's a giant barrel with furious, bloodshot eyes and a menacing, gaping, wooden-toothed mouth.
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
This odd, item-based boss is found at the end of the Lake Orangatanga level in a saw mill-like location. The stage name is known as "Belcha's Barn". Expectedly enough, Belcha's attack pattern is "belch"ing small barrels at the Kongs. You must jump on the fired barrels in order to cause a Knik-Knak to emerge. From there, you must jump on it's back and throw the Knik-Knak into Belcha's mouth, causing a single hit of damage. The location this final stage is set on is no safer than the boss himself, as both ends drop off into a bottomless pit that will kill your player instantly. Through further "Knik-Knak attacks", Belcha must be pushed further and further to the right side of the stage in order to ensure defeat.
