Flutter Flyaway is the third level of the fifth world in Donkey Kong Country Returns: Forest.

[edit] Donkey Kong Country Returns

The level starts out at the mouth of a large, sawed-off tree trunk covered with vines, which eventually leads you to a drop off decorated with a pair of Tiki Buzzes of different sizes with platforms built around the tops of their heads. These are the obstacles which dominate most of this level and move in particular patterns in order to help you reach the end safely. Once you've gotten past a pair of Tiki Buzz platforms on either side of a yellow Chomps, you'll come across a longer Tiki Buzz platform with a Skittler hanging from their webs on either side. You'll then encounter a pair of regular-sized Tiki Buzz platforms moving in a figure eight pattern along a respectively-shaped vine. Use it to reach a higher platform and take out another Skittler. Two small platforms and a circling platform will later bring you to a series of three Danger Barrels which will launch you to a group of large, coiled groups of vines which you'll find yourself bouncing against as you descend towards a Pig Checkpoint.

After using an upright, sawed-off tree trunk to elude a red and yellow Chomps, a solid, wooden platform will await you. Quickly defeat four brown-yellow Skittlers and continue on with a pair of circling platforms. These will take you to a pair of bouncy mushrooms which you'll need to reach a group of small, circling platforms. After reaching a solid, wooden platform, you'll find a regular, circling platform followed by a series of six small, circling platforms segmented by a bouncy mushroom in between. A regular, circling platform will help you get the jump on a yellow Chomps and allow you to reach a solid, wooden platform invaded by a single Tiki Goon. Afterwards, use a bouncy mushroom to dodge a red and yellow Chomps and reach another solid, wooden platform with two Tiki Goons guarding it. A Launch Barrel can be found just off the edge of this platform, which will blast you into a Danger Barrel which will proceed to fire you into the side of a large, dried-out tree, falling apart upon your impact. This will take you to the second Pig Checkpoint.

Jump over a red Chomps in order to reach a train-like series of four small, platforms running along a wall of coiled vines in a repeated pattern. Make sure to avoid the purple Skittlers that will get in your way along the platform train's path as you jump off to the next one in order to advance. After reaching a bouncy mushroom, use it to reach a pair of regular, circling platforms which move in a pattern that will lead you to another bouncy mushroom. Use this item to board a third platform train which will help you reach three bouncy mushrooms higher up in the treetops. After utilizing these mushrooms, use the following pair of regular, circling platforms and a small, circling platform in order to reach the last bouncy mushroom of this level. From this point, there will be a trio of regular, circling platforms surrounding the End-Level Barrel.
