Ghastly King is the otherworldy ruler of The Fruit Kingdoms in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the final boss you'll encounter in this Nintendo Gamecube installment. He is meant to almost perfectly resemble Cactus King and is fought against in the exact same way. The only difference is the noticeable difficulty curve.

A clone of the level that must be traversed in order to reach Cactus King must be completed in order to come across Ghastly King as well. This boss has a wider set of attacks than his counterpart and takes many more hits in order to defeat as well.
After he is defeated, it becomes evident at the end of the game that this creature had put a spell on the other Kongs all along proven by the fact that Dread Kong, Ninja Kong, Karate Kong, and Sumo Kong celebrate this boss's demise after Donkey Kong finally defeats him. They are found to be cheering and celebrating rather than approaching our hero in order to fight him.
