The Pineapple Switch is an extension of Chunky Kong's Pineapple Bazooka, as it can only be activated by this particular weapon in order to successfully pass through locked and/or blocked passageways/doors/gates simply by shooting it with a single round of ammo.
This switch is a fair size, so as to be seen from a distance, and bears the image of a pineapple on it's face, indicating which weapon is required to activate it.
These switches can be found either alone or in multiples, depending on the situation. Hitting them normally isn't a challenge unless intentional obstacles are in the way. The sniper scope add-on is needed to activate this switch.
