A Tiki Goon as seen in Donkey Kong Country Returns
|First Appearance||Donkey Kong Country Returns|
|Home||Donkey Kong Island|
|Enemies|| Donkey Kong|
Tiki Goons are the most common enemies that you'll encounter in Donkey Kong Country Returns, which appear at some point or another in each of the eight worlds featured in this game. As generic starter enemies, they are naturally simple to defeat and offer an equally simple means of attack. Like any traditional 2D-platformer, a single jump-and-bash on the Tiki Goon's head will smash it into dust after actively avoided it's close-range bite that only lands careless or distracted players.
The Tiki Goon takes on the appearance of an African tribal mask typically worn during celebrations. While the facial and decorative aspects of this enemy relate to such an object(which include the four red feathers sticking out of both sides of this enemy's face and it's human-related facial features), the Tiki Goon's overall body shape takes after that of a small, brown drum(appropriately a bongo).
